eSticky to the European Week for Active and Healthy Aging (EWAHA) to be held October 18-20, 2022 in Gdansk, Poland!

EWAHA is the European networking and exchange platform that aims to provide innovation support and interdisciplinary cooperation for active and healthy aging.
The event, brings together partners from across Europe and will include interactive workshops, debates, plenary sessions, exhibitions and match-making activities; it will build on the 10-year legacy of the AAL Association’s AAL Forum, sharing knowledge and showcasing innovation at all levels in the field of active and healthy aging.

During the event, the eSticky project, born out of the need to develop a device that would be a valuable tool to support people with memory dysfunction, will be presented. This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to learn and inform your partners about how you are helping to change the way older people use technology to stay healthy and independent for longer.

The new device, funded thanks to the European project AAL PROGRAMS, and the collaboration of seven partner companies (HICS S.R.L., KI-I – Competence Network, University of Cyprus, Harpo Sp. z o. o., Werner Daxberger aesthetic design, Gerd Rosenauer industrial design engineering, Assistenz24 gemeinnützige GmbH) will be a real “digital Post-it note” that will help older people remember their daily commitments and small appointments, while also connecting the device with their families.

Four thematic areas were chosen by the EWAHA program committee for the 2022 edition:

  1. AAL Program impact
  2. European agenda Aging Well in 2020
  3. how to prepare for an aging society?
  4. improving the impact of AAL projects.

An EWAHA 2022 that promises to be rich in content.
